The famous painting, Arrangement in Grey and Black No.1, colloquially known as "Whistler's Mother," depicts the artist's mother in mourning dress, an affectation she clung to for more than 30 years.

With this piece I wanted to provoke thought and conversation around the idea that Bitcoin can "die."

It is my opinion, and that of many, many others, that Bitcoin simply cannot die. As Andreas Antonopoulous says, Bitcoin is the "Zombie Currency," because it dies over and over again, and yet... it's still here!

It would be great if you decide to order one of these canvases, but even if you don't, I would urge you to check out this website, which maintains a collection of all the "Bitcoin Obituaries" to date.
